The Tito App was inspired by a resilient three-legged Husky mix named Tito!

Tito’s curiosity often led him into trouble, especially with his mouth. After a panicked internet search following Tito’s decision to eat a box of crayons, we realized how hard it was to find clear, trustworthy information about what’s safe (or dangerous) for dogs to ingest. So we built the resource we wished we’d had.

The app now offers quick, risk-based guidance for common items dogs might eat, along with daily trivia, training tips, and real rescue stories. The information is drawn from publicly available veterinary resources and animal health guidelines. It is designed to support, not replace, advice from your vet. Created with care and inspired by Tito’s spirit, the app helps dog guardians (or "Kahus") feel more confident, connected, and prepared for every tail-wagging adventure.

And Oh yeah, and those crayons, they made our walks more colorful for a few days…
